Alex D. Abate has been prosecuting cases on behalf of injured individuals for over ten years. He concentrates his
practice on complex injury cases and is an integral part of the medical malpractice team handling cases from initial screening through trial. He also works on behalf of injury victims in prosecuting construction negligence claims, automobile claims, premises claims, minor sexual abuse claims and other professional negligence claims. Mr. Abate has been recognized by his peers as a Rising Star by the Illinois Super Lawyers Magazine three times. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state achieve this honor each year. In 2015 he was recognized by his peers as an Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers.com a division of the Law Bulletin Publishing Company, an honor bestowed upon only 2 percent of attorneys. In 2012 Mr. Abate was also one of only 40 attorneys in Illinois selected into membership of the National Trial Lawyers top 40 under 40.
Certainly these prestigious honors come with Mr. Abate having been an integral part and lead attorney on numerous cases that have resulted in six and seven figure awards for our clients. He has vast experience handling complex injury cases and has tried numerous cases to successful verdict in both Illinois trial courts and the Illinois Worker’s Compensation Commission on behalf of injured workers. Alex has also successfully argued before the Illinois Appellate Court and Illinois Worker’s Compensation review board.
